Insights
Insights (in the sidebar) is the workspace's analytics view. It answers "what's been happening here, and how is AI being used?" over a time range you choose. Pick a date range (with quick presets) and switch between four tabs:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Stats | Workspace throughput over the period — tasks and projects created versus completed, and how those numbers trend day to day |
| AI Stats | AI usage — agent runs, activity broken down by provider, and token usage, so you can see how much and in what way the team relies on agents |
| Activity Log | A chronological, filterable feed of what happened — tasks, projects, docs and more being created, updated, and closed — with each event expandable for detail |
| MCP Clients | The AI clients currently connected to the workspace over MCP — which client, its version, and a live count |
Use Insights to spot trends (throughput, where work piles up), to understand AI adoption and what's driving token cost, and to audit recent activity — including changes made by agents, which are attributed to the person who triggered them. The data updates as the workspace is used and respects the date range you select.
Project size distribution
At the bottom of the Stats tab, a histogram shows how your projects are sized: each bar is a size bucket, and its height is how many projects fall into it. Hover a bar to see which ones. It answers "what shape is our portfolio" — lots of small projects, a few enormous ones, or a pile of empty ones nobody has filed a task against.
- Tasks ↔ Points switches between counting tasks and summing estimate points. The two use different bucket scales, because a project's points total runs several times its task count.
- Counting follows the same rule as the project progress bars: leaf tasks only (a parent task is a container for its subtasks, so counting it too would count the same work twice), and cancelled or won't-do tasks are left out.
- Completed and cancelled projects are hidden by default — in a workspace with history that tail is long enough to swamp the shape of the work actually in flight. Tick Include completed & cancelled to see everything.
- Projects in teams you cannot see are not counted and not shown.
Unlike the other charts on this tab, this one is a snapshot of the portfolio as it stands rather than a view of the selected date range — the date picker does not affect it, and the caption under the chart says so.
