Other Services
Any service with a remote MCP server can be added as a connector. How much setup it takes depends on how the service lets clients sign in. There are three cases.
| Case | What you do | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| The service registers XPT Tracker by itself | Add the connector with Authentication OAuth, press Add and connect, sign in | Notion, Linear, Atlassian, Sentry |
| The service needs an app of yours | Create an OAuth app in the service's developer console with XPT Tracker's redirect URL, then enter its Client ID and Client secret under Advanced | Slack, Asana, HubSpot, Box |
| The service accepts a personal or service token | Add the connector with Authentication Bearer token and paste the token | GitHub, Notion (MCP token) |
If you are unsure, add the connector with OAuth and press Add and connect. If the service cannot register XPT Tracker by itself, XPT Tracker says so, opens Advanced, and shows the redirect URL to register with the service.

Services change their MCP servers often. If an address stops working, check the service's own MCP documentation.
Creating an app for a service
When a service needs an app of yours, the steps are the same everywhere:
- In the service's developer console, create an OAuth app (sometimes called an integration or a client) for your company.
- Register the redirect URL that XPT Tracker shows in the connector's Advanced section, under Redirect URL to register with the provider.
- Give the app the scopes the service's MCP documentation lists for its MCP server.
- Copy the app's client ID and client secret into the connector's Advanced section, and press Save and connect.
Who the connector acts as
Whichever case applies, a connector is shared: every agent you give it to acts as the account that connected it, or as the owner of the token. Connect with an account that can see only what agents should work with, and prefer read-only access where the service offers it.
